Daniel Taylor, Associate AAIA, is an Associate Vice President as well as the Senior Project Manager at Architects Design Group. He has over 15 years of experience in his field. In addition, Daniel Taylor has extensive expertise in public safety architecture. His experience centers on extreme weather-hardened facilities, building security, systems / equipment integration, and data / communications coordination. As the BIM Manager, Daniel Taylor oversees the design and review of projects in a 3-D, parametric environment. Furthermore, Daniel tailors these systems to each project’s unique requirements. Accordingly, he works alongside our firm’s principals to effectively utilize tools in conceptual design, space planning, systems integration, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.

Additionally, Daniel Taylor has worked on several different project types including emergency management, 911, law enforcement, fire-rescue, and public safety facilities. Daniel has vast experience in extreme weather hardened facilities. These facility types include building envelope detailing, exterior equipment protection, site security, and engineering coordination. Moreover, he is devoted to designing sophisticated projects that incorporate sustainable practices.

Notably, Daniel Taylor’s academic achievements include a Bachelors of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida graduating Summa Cum Laude. He went on to receive his Masters of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with specialization in Computation and Digital Design Fabrication where he graduated with honors.
