Katy Nero is a Vice President at Architects Design Group, as well as our Director of Business Development. She has been with the firm for over 12 years and is an integral part in the ADG team. Katy manages the firm’s business development, marketing, and pre-project development efforts. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida.
Katy brings a passion for combining marketing efforts with project development and has a broad-range of experience in pre-project development. As Architects Design Group is a national public safety firm, Katy manages all of ADG’s business development strategies throughout the United States. Often times, Katy’s efforts include assisting many municipalities with jump starting their project. Equally as important, Katy also oversees the ADG marketing department and assists with the coordination of marketing initiatives. These include the design and development of the firm’s proposal responses, presentations, and promotional materials.
Also noteworthy, Katy Nero served on two International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Committees. One of the committees was responsible for updating the police facility design guidelines and standards. In addition, the second committee was responsible for police training centers.
As national public safety architects, ADG has partnered with many local architects on out-of-state projects. Therefore, an important part of Katy’s efforts include the development of regional, strategic teaming relationships with architects across the United States.
