    Construction Administrator


    Winter Park, FL

    Architects Design Group, a central Florida based Architectural Design and Planning Firm, seeks a Construction Administrator that will fill the role in our company during the construction phase of projects. The Construction Administrator responsibilities include;
    • Assist the design team with constructability reviews.
    • Establish and maintain communication between the Owner, Contractor, and Consultants
    • Respond to Contractor's Request for Information
    • Review shop drawings, product information and submittals.
    • Observe and document construction progress, quality, and compliance with the Contract. Attention to detail a must.
    • Document project meetings and communications.
    • Review and production of Specifications. Review product substitution requests.
    • Provide relevant information from contractors, owners, and consultants to assist the project manager with creating new or revised details.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of working experience in Commercial Construction (Experience in Construction Contract Administration is a plus)
    • Working knowledge of at least one web-based information exchange system; New Forma, Procore, BMI 360, Submittal Exchange by Oracle, and Auto Desk.
    • Exceptional people skills, comfortable with phone calls, email and meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
    • Ability to perform jobsite inspections, prepare written field reports with further documentation provided by photographs.
    • Excellent organizational skills including preparation of meeting minutes, documentation of site visits.
    • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills.
    • Ability to travel to project sites and overnight stays will be required periodically.

    Graphic Designer


    Winter Park, FL

    Architects Design Group (ADG) is seeking a full-time graphics and marketing coordinator to support the needs of our marketing department. The main duties for this position will be focused on developing creative and compelling sales proposals, graphic layouts, and qualifications packages. There will be some content creation, so writing skills are a bonus. Candidates should demonstrate experience working in a team environment, attention to detail, developing engaging content and layouts, strong organization skills, ability to pitch / present concepts, and having an interest in on-going development of a cohesive marketing approach. Candidates must be a self-starter and have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, post degree. Experience working in the architectural, engineering, or construction industry is preferred, but not required. This position is well-suited for someone who has superior graphic capabilities, but also enjoys the marketing side as well.

    Primary Responsibilities Include:
    Graphic-related tasks:
    • Coordinate the printing and ordering of all marketing materials (consumer-facing, recruitment, internal, special events)
    • Manage all graphic-related tasks and projects
    • Assist with the firm’s digital media efforts (minimal)
    • Create graphics for conferences (both in-booth, print collateral, and digital assets)
    • Edits and cataloging photos of finished projects

    Marketing-related tasks:
    • Preparation of proposals, qualification packages, and graphic content
    • Coordinate materials with several engineering subconsultants, as well as internal staff
    • Printing and binding of proposal documents
    • Conduct research to support proposal development
    • Preparation of presentations for projects, seminar, and conferences
    • Research on potential clients and target markets
    • Writing / editing of marketing materials
    • Tracking / overseeing marketing inventory
    • Assist with packing for conferences

    Requirements

    • Self-starter who can lead and manage tasks, with multiple team members and client involvement
    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work under tight deadlines
    • Complete proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Skilled in making detailed edits to large documents and presentations
    • Flexibility with graphic design preferences and best practices
    • Associate’s degree in marketing, graphics, business, or communications related degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
    • Excellent graphic and written communication skills
    • Knowledgeable on printing process, types of papers, etc.
    • Able to self-edit content, as well as others
    • Ability to handle multiple deadlines concurrently
    • Ability to travel minimally if needed
    • At least 3 years of experience working in a professional services office
    • A helpful and positive attitude, and a willingness to learn
