Tallahassee Police Headquarters Architects Design Group

Tallahassee Police Headquarters

ADG, in association with a local architectural firm, is designing the new Tallahassee Police Headquarters. Our scope includes a review of the spatial needs assessment, site identification and analysis, master planning, conceptual design renderings, interior design, full design and bidding documents, cost estimates, and construction oversight. The design focuses on enhancing the surrounding neighborhood to integrate TPD’s Community Oriented Policing Philosophy.

This project includes four separate buildings on site, as well as an extensive master planning effort of how the city could develop the remaining acreage for mixed-use capabilities. The four buildings will include a new 193,000+ SF large-scale police headquarters, 26,000 SF for rolling assets and fleet maintenance, as well as a 37,200-SF training building including a firing range, and a central energy plant. The main headquarters building will be roughly 130,000-SF and house all of the administrative functions, crime lab, real-time crime center, and back-up dispatch center.
