Wildwood Police Headquarters Architects Design Group

Wildwood Police Headquarters

This project replaced an existing 5,133-SF city facility which was built in the 1960’s and no longer met the needs of the city’s law enforcement and emergency communications personnel. Numerous improvements were required in order to meet ADA requirements, CALEA Policing Standards, appropriate indoor air quality, new public safety technology systems such as security, audio / visual and communications systems improvements, and to extend law enforcement capabilities to the growing city population.

The 13,200-SF police headquarters was designed to include police administration, uniform patrol, communications / dispatch, criminal investigations division, evidence, code enforcement, records, booking and intake, professional services, and a small emergency operations center. Future expansion will include a K-9 space and a rolling assets facility.
